Zach Barborinas
Co-founder
Over 30 years ago, Zach started his journey in aviation with an introductory flight lesson. Since then, his enthusiasm for aviation has led to more than 20 years of experience in business aviation, including flight department management, aircraft operations, and international and domestic business aircraft transactions.
Trusted Advisor
As an active pilot flying internationally, Zach has both FAA Part 91 and 135 experience as an Airline Transport Pilot accompanied with turbojet type ratings in the Learjet 25/35/55 series, Hawker 700/800/800XP series, Challenger 600 and 605, and Falcon 7X. Zach has an extensive background of proactive international and domestic business aircraft operations, regulatory compliance, budgeting and owner-specific advocacy to properly navigate the dynamic nature of business aviation.
Zach is a graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, as well as an NBAA Certified Aviation Manager and FAA Certified Flight Instructor. He also serves as Board President of the Skagit Regional Health Foundation which advocates and fundraises for two hospitals and numerous clinics through Skagit and Snohomish counties.
Ryan Setting
Co-founder
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Washington, Ryan started his aviation career piloting Learjets for a West Coast charter management firm. This led to multiple executive leadership roles in aircraft management, charter administration, and FBO operations.

Trusted Advisor
In partnership with a group of key clients, Ryan formed Aerius Management in 2012. Founded on the principles of transparency and client advocacy, Aerius acts as a multi-family office in the administration and operation of business aircraft. Since that time, Aerius has become the largest pure Part 91 manager of business aircraft in the Pacific Northwest.
With more than two decades as a corporate pilot, Ryan holds turbojet type ratings in the Classic Learjet series, Learjet 60, Cessna 525, Gulfstream IV, and Gulfstream G650. Ryan holds an Airline Transport Pilot license, is an FAA Certified Flight Instructor, and holds an NBAA Certified Aviation Manager certification.
Over the course of his career, Ryan has built a broad portfolio of transactional experience in all categories of business aircraft. With his deep operational background, Ryan understands how the nuances of an acquisition affect the success of operational objectives.
Brad Wollen
Aircraft Sales Executive
Over 50 years ago returning from Vietnam, Brad received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Parson College. Soon after, starting his career in aircraft sales at Cessna Aircraft Company based in Wichita, KS. Quickly finding success he transferred onto Denver, Colorado where he was assigned the district manager’s position covering the Rocky Mountain region in 1973.
Industry Veteran
Thereafter, Brad’s many years of sales included aircraft of all variants - singles, twins, turboprops and jets. Where a focus in Gulfstreams, Falcons, Challengers and Citations took hold through the 80’s and 90’s. His customer support and transactional travels spanned the globe leading to numerous VP Aircraft Sales jobs with companies such as Monarch Aviation (now West Star Aviation), Western Aircraft, and over 20 years at Modern Aviation (began as Flight Craft in 1996) at Boeing Field.
Brad’s tenure in aircraft sales has encompassed over 50 years experience and knowledge where he has become a dominant force in Pacific Northwest aircraft transactions.
